Reviews and Ratings
I had a wonderful experience at the hotel. The rooms were spacious, modern, clean, and full of light, with a gigantic and comfortable bed and a small balcony offering a lovely view of the ocean. The service was top-notch, with the staff being super friendly and accommodating. The location was idyllic, providing amazing views of the coastlines. The dining was great with special food accommodations available. However, the location being on a bridge put the elevator out of service, which was a bit disappointing. Overall, a lovely stay with great value for money.
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms were clean and adequately sized but being close to the cleaning staff's room made it noisy early in the morning. The service was exceptional, with staff going above and beyond to assist us, although the car ferry service could be improved. The location was fantastic, offering great sunset views and a peaceful atmosphere, but the dining options, while nice, could have been more varied.
The Estalagem is perched on a cliff, offering stunning views and a laid-back atmosphere. The rooms come with a view to die for and are a good size, but being close to the cleaning staff's room can lead to noise before 7 am. The service was amazing, with friendly and efficient staff willing to go the extra mile for guests. The location on the amazing cliff provides great scenery, ideal for enjoying beautiful sunsets. The dining options were delicious with a variety of choices, although a few more a la carte options would be a welcome addition.
This hotel is a gem nestled on a bridge offering amazing views of the town and the surrounding hills. The rooms are spacious, modern, clean, and full of light, providing a comfortable stay with all the basics covered. The service was top-notch, from accommodating special dietary needs to serving sundowners with stunning sunset views. The location is idyllic, offering picturesque scenery and an unforgettable sunset experience. The dining options are excellent with a focus on fresh, quality ingredients. One downside is the temporary elevator outage due to being on a bridge, but the breathtaking views compensate for it.
The hotel still had a luxurious feel and was a pleasant place to be in, but it was quite noisy due to its proximity to the cleaning staff's room, especially early in the morning. The rooms were a bit small for the number of people staying at the hotel.
